If you've got a common last name, like I do, you may be disappointed when you run a search on your own name to see what shows up. In my case, there's another Stacy Williams who is a Sports Illustrated swimsuit model who occasionally poses nude. So I often crack that people meeting me in person for the first time after Googling me may be quite disappointed. In any case, Google has just officially launched their Google Profile pages yesterday. This is very similar to setting up a profile on LinkedIn or Facebook, but here, it'll help you show up in Google results for your own name.
